The best Pixel of 2020 is now available in ‘Barely Blue’

Pixel 4a

We may be open to some negotiation with the title, but there’s no denying that when you consider the culmination of its price point and magical camera ability, the Pixel 4a is pound for pound an incredible smartphone. Indeed, the only thing standing in the Pixel 4a’s way of being an attractive phone in almost every aspect was the boring black colorway that it was restricted to. But that is no longer the case because Google has just announced that the Pixel 4a can now be had in ‘Barely Blue’.

The Barely Blue Pixel 4a is exclusively available on the Google Store at the same price as the Just Black version along with exactly the same specifications. It may be the same phone on paper, and internally, but the Barely Blue colorway definitely adds some pizazz to the Pixel 4a, making it light and refreshing instead of just drab.

Anyway, you can grab the Pixel 4a in Barely Blue from the Google Store for $349 in the US, just bear in mind that the new colorway is a ‘while stocks last’ kinda deal, so don’t ponder too long on it. If you are picking one up, don’t forget to check out our case guide here.
