T-Mobile’s Magenta Max Plan comes with unlimited Premium data

Magenta Max

When you sign up for a plan with ‘unlimited’ data you can usually look forward to having download and upload speeds throttled once you reach a certain threshold, but not with the Magenta Max plan from T-Mobile. Boasting premium data on LTE and 5G networks and unlimited 4K video streaming, the Magenta Max plan launches on February 24th.

T-Mobile isn’t perhaps as clear as it could have been when it comes to pricing, but it does say that if you have three lines on your account with autopay enabled that it will cost you $47 per line for a limited period before it increases to its RRP of $57 per line. You can probably expect Magenta Max on a single line account to cost around $100 monthly.

“T-Mobile CEO Mike Sievert says “When you’re a heavy data user with a super-fast 5G smartphone, you don’t want to be hit with speed bumps. It’s like having a Ferrari and being forced to drive it in the school zone. Well, now it’s time to open ‘er up on the wide open magenta road! And we are just getting started. Buckle up!”

Besides unlimited, un-throttled premium data on T-Mobile’s LTE and 5G networks, the Magenta Max plan includes the following:

  • 40GB of High-speed Hotspot Data
  • Netflix Standard on single lines and Family Plans
  • Unlimited Gogo in-flight WiFi
  • T-Mobile Tuesdays rewards and gifts
  • Free texting and data in 210 countries and destinations
  • Free texting, calls, and data in Mexico and Canada with up to 5GB of high-speed data
  • Free Scam Shield Premium Protection

If you have a 5G smartphone on a contract with another carrier, T-Mobile’s new Zero Cost to Switch deal will give you up to $650 per line to pay it off with zero device switching costs.
