Apple’s newest wearable, the Apple Watch Series 6, has only been available for a couple of months now, but that’s not stopping Amazon from dropping the price by $50 as we head into the holiday shopping season. Did we mention that the Apple Watch Series 6 is currently our top overall pick for the best smartwatch?
- Apple Watch Series 6, GPS, 40mm (starting at $349.99, originally $399.99; amazon.com)
Normally priced at $399, you can get the 40mm GPS version of the Series 6 in red, gold or silver for $349.99. The blue and space gray models are $379.00. Each watch comes with a matching sports band.
Only the 40mm GPS version of the Apple Watch Series 6 is on sale, so if you’re looking for the cellular model, you’ll either have to pay full price or wait for a price drop of its own.
As a refresher, the Series 6 gained a blood oxygen sensor on the back that randomly takes an Sp02 reading as you wear the watch. It kept the same always-on display feature that debuted with the Apple Watch Series 5, all-day battery life, and with the recent release of WatchOS 7, gained some new features, too. For example, you can now use the Apple Watch to track your sleep using a new bedtime mode that blocks the screen from turning on and waking you up during the night.
And of course, the Apple Watch syncs with your iPhone, putting app notifications directly on your wrist, allowing you to install miniature versions of your favorite apps on the wearable, track your workouts, and even talk to Siri to get a trivia answer or control your smart home devices.
